What a paid plan would actually buy
Capacity, and historical depth. Wikidata publishes no dated snapshot of its query service, so what a grape record said last month is not retrievable from the endpoint. This service captures each refresh. That retention is work performed — it is the only thing here that is genuinely mine to sell.
Public interest: free, just ask
Pro limits and full history at no cost for wine educators and sommelier courses, academic researchers, nonprofits, civic-technology projects, independent label designers and journalists. Message me on LinkedIn saying what you are working on. No proposal, no procurement, no annual review.
If a plan is too expensive
Do not buy one. The complete datasets are at /grapes/api/v1/,
the server is MIT, and the upstream is free. A rate limit is a property of my hardware, not of the data.
